Dulcie, our first Border Terrier.
Dulcie came to us in 1992 from Betty Judge of the Plushcourt affix.
She is the foundation for three generations of Lutrabeck Border Terriers.
We discovered the 'show ring' through Dulcie who did very well when she was campaigned. She also 'worked together' with our daughters Emily and Madeline when they become involved in junior handling.

Key is one of the great Border characters .. probably not so typical in this respect although he looks the part!! - He has a tremendous sense of fun and loves to impress with some of his antics. He will typically run through the lounge with an empty toilet roll in his mouth .. shaking his posterior gleefully as he exits through another door. He can be a 'serious' Border Terrier for a while but it's usually a passing phase. He has done us proud in the show ring gaining his championship in 1998. He was bred by Anara Hibberd who has a long and well founded knowledge of the breed, hunting and working terriers in general. Since 1992, Anara has been a good friend and has helped us to develop a good understanding of what lies behind the words in the breed standard.
